Do You Believe In Your Ability To Fly?

It’s easy to come up with new ideas; the hard part is letting go of what worked for you two years ago, but will soon be out-of-date. ~Roger von Oech

I read earlier today that change is like crossing the monkey bars. You have to let go so you can move forward. You have to be open and vulnerable while at the same time believing in your ability to fly before you can grab on to whats next. You have to be brave and strong to let go and ultimately have faith in yourself and your resources.

That is scary and seems overwhelming. And if I am being honest on days like today can seem darn near impossible. Yet I remember the excitement, freedom and confidence I gain when I let go of the monkey bar,  reach out and swing into  the future.

So here is the most important question to ask yourself: Do you believe in your ability to fly?

Do you believe that if you let go of what you know..what you NEED will show up?

Do you believe in the  business / organization you are creating? Do you believe in your voice, your intuition, your brilliance and your wisdom?

Do you believe in your staff ,your board, your mentors and your advisers?

You do?  Then let go and fly.

What has worked in the past or what was wildly successful will not stay that way for ever.  Nothing last forever…nothing good, nothing bad. Programs, people, organizations, mentors, advisers, advocate and fans, sponsors and partners  have to change and evolve  for you to stay relevant.

Do you believe in your ability to fly? I believe in it and I believe in you. I believe in your ability to change and create  to vision and to implement. I believe in the voice that tells you the next move even when you have no idea how to do it. I believe in your network and your ability to engage and connect so you can move your mission forward.

Let us be people and organizations that fly.

Slow, Deep, Irreversible Work

Soft with each other hard on systems

Hello friends! Last week, I had the privilege and honor of speaking on two different panels about how the systems we find ourselves in are hard on every one of us. They are hard on us emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Yet, we continue to fight to...

Is it ok to celebrate an inch? Takeaways from 2023
